My opinion with related to IAF: to me it doesn't matter what PLAAF & PAF gets, the ship sailed long ago,i wouldn't even mind further degradation in IAF's capability vis-a-vis to our adversaries,would humble quite a lot of people in IAF & make them stop behaving like rich brats++ Image

Image ++ why so? well look at it, PAF got 4th gen F-16 before IAF, what did we do? we imported Mig-23, M2k,Mig-29. Then in early 2000s we got Su-30K & then MKI later but in early 2000s IAF was in an advantageous position than PLAAF as PLA & their industry were doing "catch up"++ Image

So the majority of troops are equipped with model-1974 Fiber glass helmets introduced in 1970s even though they went through certain improvements over time but these were outdated 25-30 years ago.
