Water lettuce (πππ π‘ππ π π‘πππ‘πππ‘ππ ) is a perrenial, mat-forming, free-floating aquatic plant, native to South America. Each plant consist of a rosette of leaves (<150-200 mm in diameter) with a tuft of long, fibrous roots, resembling floating lettuces.
