Who is the “real” Lucas Bouchard? Is he a dreamer who disguised his ambition, longs for something greater & wasn’t meant to live in a row house? Or is he a sojourner, who has traveled, seen the world & now longs to belong somewhere and to a family? When L showed up in s6 he was outgoing, charismatic, a little bit mysterious (like nearly every other newcomer to HV), and went toe-to-toe with Abigail. We were given a glimpse past his charming exterior and saw his vulnerable side and heart at the end of s6e3.

#Lucabeth fans frustration and disappointment is not based on the fact that their engagement ended. We understand relationships end in real life. Sometimes love can’t prevent circumstances from pulling two people apart. That’s not what happened on this show. 1/♾️ #hearties What happened was the writers having it where E never loved him in the first place. There’s a difference between a couple that still loves each other breaking up over outside factors and ending because one person involved was never in love or invested in the relationship. 2/♾️

@litcrittree3 Couldn’t agree more! Everyone can have their opinions about characters. Now some we may completely disagree with and can’t see how anyone could come to that conclusion (I.e. Lucas being shady) but as we said if some fans want to think that they can. 1/ #hearties #LucaBeth @litcrittree3 The problem comes when some fans take “their” opinions of characters, that aren’t shown at all in the show.
