The issue for goliath firms is no path to future growth. Only way for line go up is cut costs. Labor arbitrage only game left. Expect much more offshoring.
Elon, if honest, would admit only way to keep firms in US is massive influx of cheap Indian labor. So what to do? /1
Firms still profitable but Wall St demands constant profit margin increases or stock gets pulverized. Firms pay c-suite with stock options. Change c-suite incentives and firms can stay in US, employ US workers and all live happily ever after. /2

@ScottAdamsSays The whole top 1% talk is nonsense. And the demand for massive numbers of also nonsense. We can produce as many engineers as we want and a very few will be "the best" and many more will be very good while some will be lower quality. There is work for all of them. /1
@ScottAdamsSays Most engineering work doesn't require top talent just competent engineers. The fetish for "top talent" is mostly hype and Musk's demand for super ambitious types is code for willing to work 80 hours a week for low pay. /2

Western culture is so incredibly rich and profound. Our music, art, literatute have no peers. Our languages, expression, humor, science and innovation are unmatched. No other cultures even come close. /1
Yet somehow far too many in the west have been psychologically manipulated to think otherwise. The neoliberal era that is finally ending is largely to blame. /2
