Today, @wiredunion is holding a half-day work stoppage to protest @condenast’s inexcusable delays in recognizing us and their attempts to bust our union by carving out multiple groups of @wired editorial staff from our bargaining unit. Five months ago today, we announced we were forming a union with @nyguild. Since then, @condenast has lied to us about the work our colleagues do in order to justify excluding them from our union, in addition to repeatedly canceling or showing up late and unprepared to meetings.

This morning, members of @wiredunion emailed @RogerLynch demanding that @CondeNast voluntarily recognize the Wired Union. Here’s what members had to say: 1/ From @lmatsakis: "I'm dismayed that Condé Nast has wasted time and resources for 40 DAYS attempting to delay the inevitable: There will be a WIRED Union. I stand strong with my colleagues in our intention to claim a seat at the table to determine our own future." 2/
