So I’m officially disillusioned with my union @ucu. This kind of anti-intellectual bandwagon politicking is imho the death of any revolutionary socialist potential. telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/11/1… It’s not just UCU who are pioneering the Self-ID model, though for a so-called socialist union this is painfully delusional. Self-ID relies on the ahistorical individual disclosure of “the true self” as separate from the body, rendering class analysis a meaningless exercise.
