Excellent thread, and Shylock gets to one of the core ideas presented by Dr. Hallpike.

We need God to be good because we need a central authority to judge between conflicts and handle the exceptions. Without God, your "Right to X" has no limits, and rams directly into my own "Right".

The Libertarians are an example of these things in action, as we see the incoherencies play out.
