I have a campaign I'll 75% be running next year, and I'm sure not going to run a campaign on a platform that is investing in technology that is _literally killing the planet_.

I have a 9 year old. I'm emotionally invested in her _having a planet to live on_.

I hate Pride Month not because of straight people or rainbow capitalism, but because of other queer people. Pride Month is always when I feel the most under attack, unwanted, and unloved by the queer "community". I had a mini breakdown over the weekend because of it. It sucked.

In the wake of the Luke Crane / Adam Koebel train wreck, we've almost immediately moved on to talking about restorative justice and reintegration with the "community".

As a survivor of abuse who has had the language of "restorative justice" weaponized against me, we need to talk ...about two things.

1. The ways in which communities feel entitled to the forgiveness of victims so that they don't have to be uncomfortable

AND

2. The critical need for creating a path back for harmful people who Fucking Do The Work

Cis people, you have no idea what a rollercoaster it is trying to navigate getting health care as a trans person - even when you are getting care for not-trans-related stuff.

So. Story time. I'm going to tell you about the FUCKING W I L D experience I just had. So. Context: Last February I realized I was trans and went to my GP to get her to write a referral to a publicly funded gender identity clinic. (I'm Canadian)

I didn't have to explain what being trans meant, but I DID have to explain what dysphoria was. To my fucking doctor.

All right. Because I was already yelling about TERF bullshit, let's do a master debunk of the steaming pile of garbage that is JKR's "defense" of her transphobia.

I'm going to go through her 3600 word blog post line-by-line if need be to show how her rhetoric is transphobic. So. Uh. Big CW for virulent transphobia.
