I think that maintaining software on Windows is particularly problematic because there's strata 30 years deep of best practices that are obsolete and contradictory and sometimes barely made sense when they were brand new.

No uninstaller in appwiz.cpl, but there's an "Uninstall" option for it the start menu that... doesn't remove the start menu item.

Once, long ago, I was at a medical center for routine bloodwork. Usually takes about 3 minutes to sign in, get drawn, and go. I got on the elevator and juust as the doors closed a really old couple got on, too. I was headed to the blood lab. Guess where they were going, too. Because they were last on the elevator they were first to exit it, and I so I followed them to the check-in desk where they spent a minimum of five minutes trying to explain+remember why they were there to the receptionist.

There are surprisingly few PG moments from Green Wing involving Sue White. (She is prone to swearing, sexual assault/involuntary fertilization, & attempted homicide.) But she does a mean Kylie Minogue.

The camel doesn't get quite enough attention in this montage, but I like it anyway.
