If you're American, you've almost certainly heard about how Native American reservations were and are located on whatever land the US doesn't want anyway. That they're just a way to whisk away undesirables until the land becomes useful to the US.

That's the two-state solution. Israel came in, took all the good land, and continually pushed their borders until the Palestinian people were shunted off into a discontinuous, open-air prison. This is what they would have Palestine be.

I'm like that thing where culture is noticeably influenced by what was popular with kids ~20 years ago, but for breadtube I'm the Steven Universe to Hbomberguy's Sailor Moon, is what I'm saying. I'm the Batman to someone's bat man. The Jan Misali of youtubers. I'm from the united states

The picturing of socialism as "everyone's paid the same" is indicative of how truly trapped we are in the capitalist mind prison. The idea people don't deserve to survive if they don't work, the idea jobs and wages must always exist, it's sad. It's no wonder the most radical thing they can picture is some shitty socdem thing with an added law making everyone's wage the same for some reason

The whole "kink at pride" thing feels like one of those arguments where everyone's convinced they disagree with each other because of semantics and a couple bad faith actors even though they actually would do very little different in a real world context Like everyone agrees that out & out sex shouldn't generally be at pride, right? And that kink is a part of queer history, and that queerness isn't inherently sexual, and that kink doesn't make you lgbt, and that some level of passive kink in the form of accessories is fine

I saw some transmasc truscum accounts bemoaning the use of inclusive language when talking about abortion because it reminds them that they have uteri. And like. It's really sad how easily you shoot yourself in the foot when you refuse to admit genitals aren't inherently gendered I can't lecture people with such different experience to me on how dysphoria is supposed to work. But this is bad for transmasc people. Without the clear notice being made that men can get pregnant, it'll be all too easy for activists and laws to leave them behind.
