imagine a country with an apparent democratic structure, lets call it acmia - acmians have a bicameral legislature and a federal structure, with courts and a chief executive which appoints ministers - acmians elect their legislative members and executive directly every five years
two parties have arisen in acmia, supported by a wealthy board of commerce, which lobbies against the interest of the lower two quintiles of acmians in favor of themselves and the upper class of acmians in the top quintile

one of the most difficult things about living in this era is seeing so many people feel alienated and lonely in a society full of genuine care about one another - im so thrilled to feel comfortable in my own skin, and to be surrounded by so many people who love and care for me
yet it saddens me so often to see so many people feeling lost and alone in a way that i felt many years ago — i genuinely care about people and love to explore and play and laugh — and make memories — but its so hard to see so much suffering and alienation caused by social media

hey y’all - despite my best efforts, earlier this week i tested positive for covid-19 - i will be quarantined for the remainder of the month - my symptoms are very mild thanks to being fully vaxxed in april
all currently planned travel and in-person engagements are canceled until october 1st - i am currently under medical advisement and will be following the instructions of my primary healthcare provider
