A common misconception about leadership is that it's all about driving *your* vision forward.
Leaders of high performing teams care about something very different - *enrolling* their teams to create a vision, and have the team drive that vision forward.
As leaders we are always thinking about the future.
We operate from a place of - where are we today? Where do we need to go? And how do we get there?
So we often have a tendency to feel like we have to "sell" our vision of that path and that future.
