extremely long 🧵 analyzing tommy kinard's character progression, from his time as a flawed, closeted individual to a well-liked friend of the 118 (feat. the invisible string romantically tying him to buck) let me preface this by saying i'm just one person. you do not have to agree with my interpretations. there may be errors in my timeline estimations. i'm trying my best! also, please know this is a LONG thread and going to take me some time to post. like, literal hours.

🧵 for my thoughts about tommy, bucktommy, and the eddie problem (aka: i'm a semi-new viewer taking it all in for the first time and these are my thoughts) so, i definitely think i have a sympathetic view for tommy. i'll explain why in a bit, but i also don't think buck is necessarily a bad guy or wrong for his feelings either. the root of all evil is in eddie—or rather, in his writing and his association with buck.
