My unsolicited advice for new/ first time Nigerian founders is:
- Assume that no one is coming to save you
- create a path to money.
- Have a small / essential team.
- Know exactly how much you need to pay yourself & that team.
- Target that amount monthly.
- Don’t focus your energies on raising. That should be about 10-15% of your efforts.
- Focus more effort on building/selling.
- SELL, never be ashamed to sell your service/ innovation. Sell everywhere.
- Understand the hell outta your target market. Know them! Be them.

Ideas thread:
Businesses you can start, if you have some cash & you are wondering what to do if the market is viable.
These are researched ideas.
Instead of Airbnb
1. Storage rental space: can start small, a 5 bedroom that you have partitioned into smaller units of different sizes.
Rental is per month - per year.
Tight SLA. After 6 months of non-payments, items will be sold.
Have security + insurance.
