Mariia Yudenok, 81, a resident of Kachali village next to Borodyanka in Kyiv region. Having lost her house in a mine blast, she lives with her daughter close by and moves around with a blue Dutch omafiets now. But that's not the end of the story. 🧵
After we shared this photo in our chat, one of the volunteers has recognized her bike and was thrilled beyond belief! For a few years she used it to ride Amsterdam streets with her son, and was very happy to answer our call and donate the bike to Ukraine.
In November, Latvia commemorates its soldiers who fought for the land and celebrates the declaration of the Latvian republic. In a rather symbolic way, just in between these two memorable days we have delivered a Latvian ambulance to Ukraine.
Earlier @SergeySnegirev delivered a Zeilen :amb to :ua, and then bought two himself. In October he started raising funds for one more, and 147 Latvians joined. Then, a drone manufacturer @atlasuas and a coffee company Coffee Address joined as well and helped reach the goal.

This weekend, we sent four more ambulances to Ukraine, but let's start with two donated from the USA.
Good people of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Parma, Ohio procured and sent us 🚑🚑 full of necessary medical supplies to be allocated per our preference. We brought them in from the port of Antwerp 🇧🇪, got ready to go and on the day of departure one hasn't started.

On Friday Dec 2, @CultStefanus in Utrecht will host a show of one of the most prominent Belarusian musicians @lavonvolski. Thanks to support of Belarusian businessmen in 🇳🇱, all running costs are covered and the proceeds of ticket sales will go towards more 🚑 for 🇺🇦.
For many years Lavon Volski is at forefront of Belarusian music. Having founded and led Mroya, N.R.M., and Krambambula, he also developed a number of collab music projects that were very popular in the country and are remembered through the years.
