On the very same day Politico tosses the keys to its signature, read-by-everyone newsletter to a rightwing propagandist, @hughhewitt takes a completely accurate, almost banal tweet by a Politico editor to tar it as a left-wing rag. Perfect.
When I've asked good, objective political reporters why they continue to go on Hewitt's show, some of them have sheepishly admitted that they do in order to sell their books to conservative readers. But, honestly, it's looking more and more like a protection racket he's running.
