Miau. Lo de ayer en León es un comportamiento sistemático del Estado opresor machista que busca ejercer escarmiento en las mujeres mediante la violencia sexual.
Según datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Población Privada de la Libertad (ENPOL), 3 de 10 mujeres detenidas por la policía municipal en el país son desvestidas al momento de la detención, mientras que 10% dice haber sido violada.
Algo importante: el porcentaje se duplica y cuatruplica en caso de detención por el Ejército y la Marina, respectivamente.
Miau. La policía de León, en México, torturó y agredió sexualmente a adolescentes y detuvo e incomunicó a 10 mujeres, por participar en protestas originadas por violencia sexual infringida por policías que sufrió Evelyn el 14 de agosto. 🤦🏿♀️🤦🏽♀️
"Sí tuviste los huevos para manifestarte, ten los huevos para recibir los golpes" le dijo una policía a la adolescente luego de la golpiza que le dieron y la agresión secual.
De hecho, varias de las detenciones de mujeres sucedieron en redadas luego de terminada la manifestación, ya sea en paradas de autobús o incluso cuando ellas iban ya en sus coches.

Evelyn was acquitted last month after spending nearly 3 yrs behind bars. During her retrial, prosecutors denied that she was raped and tried to increase her prison sentence by 10 years. That's 40 years for a stillbirth.

Abortion is banned in all circumstances in El Salvador, and poor women who have experienced pregnancy complications are regularly accused of having abortions and thrown in jail for decades.
This February, after serving 33 months of her 30 year prison sentence, Evelyn, a Salvadoran women who was unjustly imprisoned for suffering an obstetric emergency, was freed.
But today, she's on trial again as prosecutors try to put her back behind bars.
