Watching some #maiddragon and one moment of animation I love from ep13, when Kanna informs Kobayashi that Tohru's dad has taken her back to their world and that she's likely not coming back. Kobayashi adjusting her glasses and anxiously scratching her head trying process it all.
Like, it tells exactly how Kobayashi is feeling without saying anything. This surreal life she has grown accustomed to, having this gay as heck dragon maid in her life, was suddenly and swiftly taken away. Yasuhiro Takemoto boarded this episode.
And not just that but how the color palette in Kobayashi's apartment, once colorful and vibrant, becomes more subdued and gloomy once Tohru is absent. Tohru was literally bringing light into her life.
