நள்ளிரவில் 100 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்த கார் திடிரென்று நின்றது..!!
டிரைவர் சீட்டுக்கு பக்கத்து சீட்டில் உட்கார்ந்து தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த என் நண்பரை டிரைவர் தட்டி எழுப்பினார்,
“சார் பின்னாடி போய் உட்காருங்க.. (1/9)

நீங்க தூங்கி தூங்கி வழியறத பார்த்தா எனக்கும் தூக்கம் வருது”.
தூங்கி கொண்டிருந்த நண்பர் பின்னால் உட்கார்ந்து,
விட்ட தூக்கத்தை தொடர ஆரம்பித்தார்.
என்னால் தான் தூங்க முடியவில்லை. டிரைவர் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளைப் பற்றியே யோசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்..!! (2/9)
தூங்கி கொண்டிருந்த நண்பர் பின்னால் உட்கார்ந்து,
விட்ட தூக்கத்தை தொடர ஆரம்பித்தார்.
என்னால் தான் தூங்க முடியவில்லை. டிரைவர் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளைப் பற்றியே யோசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்..!! (2/9)
பல நேரங்களில் நம் செயல்பாடுகள் கூட நம் பக்கத்தில் இருப்பவரை பொறுத்துத்தான் இருக்கிறது...!!!

As a young girl I was always interested in computers and truly had a knack for it - but I never thought I was 'as good' as other people. When I got into college this continued, as I saw mainly white men in the computer sci dept and again, didn't think I was good enough.
