#PTW19 #Intro19 - Noon session is “Could Company Benefits Outweigh Pay” with @kadud, Beth Perkins, Kory Collins, @dbookbinder, and @em_allena

#PTW19 #Intro19 - We're starting with a discussion on the importance of flexibility in the workplace. Trust is big, lots of transparency. Enabling 100% remote workforce for Seer Interactive. @o3world - parental leave policies have been big for our people.

#PTW19 #Intro19 - We're chatting about the importance of salary and transparency. Some companies are extreme where you can see pay for each employee. I haven't met anyone who works in an environment like that... would be interested in cultural impact.

#PTW19 #Intro19 - Providing salary ranges doesn't help an employee understand their salary. Employees need a base of how a company makes money first.

Opinion: this can be tough in larger orgs but equally as important. Aligning work to bottom line goes beyond benefits

#PTW19 #intro19 - Interesting fact. Average first time that someone is put into a management role? 31. First time an employee gets training? 42.

Op: leadership is something that can be learned. For something so critical we can do better. Note: management != leadership.

#PTW19 #intro19 - Topic: customization of benefits per employee.

Op: Great concept, would be interested to see data on implementation for employee retention. Having more levers to modify is critical for negotiations on both sides.
