1) Corbyn as caretaker PM? Seriously?
Yes, we want to stop no deal #Brexit, yes we'll go to any lengths, but the solution must be realistic, and it's leader must have some integrity
Corbyn as a caretaker PM is a non starter, and it's surprising so many have been taken in
2) Firstly, Corbyn is simply untrustworthy on #Brexit. Have we all forgotten the 2 steps forward 3 steps back fence sitting? The comments from front benchers undermined within hours by a "Labour spokesman"?
Nothing Corbyn says on Brexit can be taken at face value
3) he is a leaver, this is his priority, so the very idea of a committed but dishonest brexiter leading an anti #Brexit government is too ludicrous to even contemplate. Every day of his premiership would be one of forked tongue non commitments to help shepherd Brexit
4) secondly Corbyn would simply be a distraction. The significant baggage around him would distract from Brexit itself and make the anti Brexit movement look ridiculous
5) Corbyn has no personal qualities that would help in this fight.
No charisma, little intelligence, cannot think on his feet, no passion. Every appearance has to be carefully managed by his handlers.
He is not a leader.
6) too many MPs who have publicly criticised him would have to backtrack.
Every interview would be "but you said Corbyn was..."
Remainer MPs would appear craven and hypocritical, appearances would be a joke.
7) finally it is difficult to imagine a more divisive figure than Corbyn
Moderate Tory MPs would never support him, the DUP hate him, the Jewish community is outraged and Remainers are sick of his pro #Brexit machinations
MPs left Labour because of him & his ratings are terrible
8) those saying "why can't Remainers support a temporary Corbyn government?..."
Seriously, think about it.
The very concept of a Corbyn government would cripple the VoNC, if it scraped through it would be marred by incompetence & doublethink
9) does anyone think that the most double dealing and fragmented political leadership for decades would suddenly gain discipline and clarity?
Really?
Just close your eyes and imagine a Corbyn government trying to stop #Brexit
10) obviously people are desperate to stop hard #Brexit and are grasping
But this is just another self serving selfish game by Corbyn & his leadership. Putting him front and center of any fight against Brexit is simply a ludicrous idea
Please, take a step back
