Fact: Wendy had a TREATABLE kind of TNBC.
Fact: She found it HERSELF the way many women like her do.
Fact: Wendy was NED before her recurrence to Stage 4

Amy ignores all of that. She instead focuses on the same crap everyone has heard for over 30yrs yet hasn't moved the needle in the right direction.

Fact: Up to 30% of those diagnosed with Stage 1-3 will have a recurrence after successful completion of treatment; which could come as late as 20yrs after initial diagnosis.

Fact: There's NO amount of prevention to fix that. Also, how DARE she patient blame ANYONE - especially in an article about the death of a Metastatic patient

Fact: Mammograms are a DIAGNOSTIC tool. It assists radiologists in finding cancer that is already there. Her blanket statement is completely false.

The icing on the cake was when Amy said this: (Our goal) "reduce breast cancer deaths by fifty percent by 2026. "early detection is the key to achieving this goal."

After 37yrs, the magic # is 7 more to cut deaths by half? AYFKM?

I want to thank Amy Treadway for confirming that @SusanGKomen has NOT changed one iota. Their new goal is the SAME one but with different packaging. Nothing has been learned. They aren't listening & by using #mbc deaths as a platform proves they still don't care.
