This Green Line train offloaded at Mt. Vernon in order to turn south to pick up passengers (many on the platform @ L'Enfant & other stations) en route to Navy Yard for the game. It'll head towards Branch Ave. #wmata

The white southbound train here is going to go in service at L'Enfant as a Green Line train to help alleviate crowding at the station. #wmata

#wmata also offloaded RD/Shady Grove train 124 @ Fort Totten at ~6pm in order to send it to the Green Line to help move pax to/from Navy Yard.

#wmata now has 5 gap trains in service or positioning to go in service on the Green Line to assist with crowding mainly at L'Enfant and Gallery Place. These trains are running in addition to regularly-scheduled YL/GR service.

Marey charts are neat. This one shows the extra Green Line trains #wmata put in service so far to get people to Navy Yard. White means non-revenue.

Green Line trains will enter & leave Navy Yard at reduced speeds due to crowding in the station.

#wmata has also begun dispatching "baseball trains" to move extra capacity from Navy Yard up to L'Enfant and Gallery Place.

MTA Maryland knows what's up. #MARC

#wmata has a number of gap baseball trains, both on the Green line but also OR/SV/BL, to get people home.

If you're in line by this deadline, #wmata has said they'll get you home.
