One legacy of race-based chattel slavery is the #racialwealthgap. For centuries, slave holders stole Black labor. That injustice has never been addressed. Today the typical white family has 10x or more wealth than the typical Black family.

This racial wealth gap affects not only Black people's ability to purchase homes or pay for college tuition. It affects ministry, too. Many Black Christians do not have the generational wealth or access to personal networks to raise money for ministry. So what do we do?
The goal of The Witness Foundation is to raise $1 million to act as the principal sum of a new endowment. We will use interest from that endowment to fund financial grants to Black Christian ministries. But we need your help!
