#BREAKING: Hong Kong government announces to close six of the 14 border checkpoints starting Jan 30 midnight to combat the increasing #WuhanCoronovirus epidemic, including West Kowloon and Hung Hom. Ferry services between China and Hong Kong will be suspended. #WuhanOutbreak

Flights between the mainland and Hong Kong will be cut half, Mrs Lam adds. And as said earlier, government departments will work under special work arrangement. Except for those providing emergency services and necessary public services, govt employees will have to work at home.

The embattled Hong Kong leader also says the central government has agreed to stop issuing individual travel permits to mainlanders from visiting the city. PS: Issuance of the group travel permit has been suspended last week already.

Describing such speculations as “ridiculous”, Mrs Lam also rebuffed the rumours that have been circulating online these days about allocating the city’s medical resource to combat the #nCoV2019 epidemic, which has caused havocs in multiple mainland cities.
