Story of Romulus and Remus #Rome #Pisa #romulus #historyofroma #Roma

What does the name Romulus remind you of? For me, it is the city of Rome. Romulus was the son of the Roman god Mars and the brother of Remus. 1/5

When Romulus and Remus were born, their uncle took the throne from their grandfather. Their cunning uncle knew that Romulus and Remus would kill him one day. So he put them in a basket and left them in the river Tiber. They floated and floated until one day. 2/5

When Romulus and Remus were floating they went past a wolf. The wolf took them out of the water and took care of them as its own children. Every day the world would steal milk and food for the boys. One day the wolf found a shepherd and asked him for food. 3/5

Later the shepherd began looking after the boys. Soon they became strong and defeated their uncle and left the throne for their grandfather.

Then they went in search of a city to rule. They at last found a place. The problem was that both of them wanted to rule the place. 4/5

So, Romulus killed Remus and set his city on the Palantine hill. Later he named it Roma after himself. Whenever you see the eyecatching beauty of Rome, thank Romulus! 5/5
