#COVID19 #Italia Update March 22 -- Finally, today we start seeing some better numbers: 5560 new infected (6557 yesterday) and 651 deaths (793 yesterday). Number of total open cases increases by 9.3% (12.7% yesterday). Hopefully these are effects of #StayAtHome

1/ Good news also with respect to the increase in the number of people in ICU: 5.3%, the lowest number in days. This is very important as many hospitals are close to saturation.

2/ regional breakdown: deaths -- rate of growth slows down in most regions. It is still concerning evolution in Tuscany, Campania.

3/ regional breakdown: positive -- Also for number of positive, obviously affected by number of tests, there seems to be slow down in growht rate in most regions, with some exceptions in South. Let's hope this does not translate in an increase in deaths there in next few days.

4/ in mean time #StayAtHome #StayStrong and let's hope todays number are a good sign for the next few days. Total number of infected still large, so it is important to maintain all the safety measures we follow every day.
