Austria 🇦🇹 not alone in their attempt to gradually re-open after Easter. Denmark 🇩🇰 & Norway 🇳🇴 have similar plans:

Interesting difference in strategy & priorities: Austria 🇦🇹 re-opens garden centres, Denmark 🇩🇰 re-opens primary schools first. Is there any epidemiological reason? Or are these strategies based purely on economic and/or social criteria? Any opinions out there? /2
Testing levels high in Austria 🇦🇹, but not so in Denmark 🇩🇰. Neither of these countries seem to have tested controlled samples to estimate asymptomatic cases, although such a study is under way in Austria. Is it wise to re-open before we have better estimates of true cases? /3
Finally, ICU bed capacity *much* better in Austria 🇦🇹 than in Denmark 🇩🇰. Don’t you want to have a high capacity before opening? Just in case. Systems with such large delay are hard too manipulate. Better be on the safe side… /4
