.@LtGovHusted: What was the #StayHomeOhio is now the #StaySafeOhio order. This represents a transition to the next phase of how we're going to live our lives.
We know people are going out more (the safest place is still at home) but when you do go out, we want to make sure you have the best knowledge possible, the best standards, to stay safe.
I don't expect that all Ohioans will do the right things b/c the order says so. We had to set standards to protect the vulnerable. It's how we collectively get through this sooner.
We will slow the spread of #COVID19 if we stick with what we're doing. We must stick to it. We all play a role in making that happen.
.@LtGovHusted: I do want to say that, personally, I don't enjoy wearing a mask. I know most of you don't enjoy it. But I"m going to wear a mask. Not b/c of the order. But b/c there are a lot of people in my life who are vulnerable.
It is my personal responsibility and I believe it's everyone's responsibility to protect each other. We understand uncertainty is tough -- but it is our intent to keep people safe and to open up. We can do both. We must do both. #InThisTogetherOhio #StaySafeOhio
