1] The meeting of the 2014 structures of the #MDC of #Tsvangirai as well as its subsequent resolutions were both inevitable.
The reason is not that they have necessarily decided to implement the SC verdict, but rather that they need to stop #Mwonzora from politically abusing it.
2] As exposed by a letter circulating, #Mwonzora, #Komichi & #Mudzuri among others, who did not attend, were actually invited.
It then nonsensical for the resolutions to be declared void by #Mwonzora and his camp.
In their absence, #legally, the meeting proceeded.
3] Back to the judgement, #Mwonzora had become so dangerously excited.
He recalled MPs without any MDC-T structure meeting.
He had become the defacto MDC-T NC,SC & #Constitution.
#Komichi elevated himself without any engagement with the actual Chair, as directed by the ruling.
4] But what is actually key about the meeting is that #Mwonzora was not fired or anything.
He was simply asked to convene a legal meeting of the old MDC-T, using his new old role as SG.
#Komichi can even Chair the NC meeting.
#Mwonzora can write the minutes.
It has to happen.
5] You can choose your side, but bottom line is, a judgement doesn't self implement.
It can not equally be individually implemented by #Mwonzora who has become so busy he doesn't remember when he issued a key statement.
His claims of #constitutionalism adherence must be tested.
6] It is equally key to note that the communique maintained that #MaKhupe remains outside the old party after absconding meetings.
Obviously #Mwonzora has an option of digging in.
He can even get more court #judgements.
Bottom line is, they have brought the fight to him.
7] It will be interesting to note what the other camp decide to do.
The #NationalCouncil meeing can decided against implementing the SC ruling.
It can even decide to fire #Mwonzora & others.
What remains key is that #Mwonzora clearly lacks the backing of those structures.
8] What is key here is that the #Chamisa group is politically grounded by the i
#indefinite #lockdown.
It has to find other ways of acting.
As I've stressed, #Mwonzora has to be stopped from abusing the #SCJudgement.
Knowing #Mwonzora, he will purport to fire those people.
9] But ive already said for the past 2 years, #Mwonzora needs to work on his political arithmetics.
He keeps #miscalculating & #misfiring.
It has always been a hard fact that he lacks the support of the #MDC structures.
All MDCs he has been part of.
