The Congressional Black Caucus, Judiciary Committee and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are announcing their police reform bill right now. Live stream is here: facebook.com/watch/live/?v=…

Word is that a ban on the use of no-knock warrants in drug enforcement situations will be part of the bill.

Pelosi just confirmed that this bill would ban no-knock warrants.

Pelosi says there is more to come. She calls on McConnell to bring up this bill when it passes the House.

Sen. Kamala Harris, at this press conference, says we need to change the benchmark for the use of force from "was it reasonable?" to "was it necessary?"

Harris also says "there is more work to be done."

Multiple lawmakers insinuating this isn't the only bill that may be brought up on this topic.

Clyburn speaks straight to lawmakers & reporters, saying to keep in mind that "with few exceptions," white people came to this country freely, looking for liberty and justice for all. Black people, meanwhile, came to this country in shackles, and stayed that way for 244 years.

Pelosi says there is a lot of legislation "coming down the pike that will address come of the concerns of our communities across the country" and calls again on McConnell to pass the HEROES Act — the coronavirus aid package passed last month — that includes the #SAFEBanking Act.
