Considering the prevailing situation caused by the COVID pandemic, convening a session from June 22 is difficult. It has been unanimously decided to hold the convention from August 3.

Cyclone Nisarga has caused immense damage. We have visited the affected areas and reviewed the situation. Compensation will be paid after panchanamas to assess the damage are completed.
The MVA Govt stands firmly with the people who have been affected by the Cyclone.
Work on restoring uprooted electricity poles is underway. We are bringing technical teams from other districts to restore electricity supply, and the work has started.
The Govt is taking cautious steps for ‘Mission Begin Again’. Like we imposed the lockdown in phases, it will have to be lifted in a phased manner. The danger is yet to pass. But, we cannot bring the economic cycle to a grinding halt even as we fight Corona.
If the relaxations to the lockdown starts turning out to be risky, we will be compelled to re-impose the lockdown.
The people of Maharashtra have been cooperating with the Government & following instructions. They have faith that the Government is acting in their best interest.
I am requesting all to please avoid crowding.
