1/5 #COVID19 key concerns in 🇨🇦: After months of Canadians working together to #FlattentheCurve & protect our health system, many areas have been able to resume important medical procedures like elective surgeries
2/5 For parents, children & adults of all ages who have been anxiously waiting out weeks & months of #COVID19, not being able to schedule surgery to address a whole range of medical issues has only added to pain & discomfort.
3/5 However, as these important medical procedures resume, there is a growing need for blood donations to restore and maintain critical inventory. So I am asking Canadians once again, to roll up their sleeves and #HelpOthers.
4/5 Earlier this year, I talked about the ongoing need to donate blood. Thanks to Canadians who continued to donate during #COVID19, @CanadasLifeline & @HemaQuebec have been able to keep up with demand for medical emergencies.
5/5 Now with renewed need for blood donations, I am asking Canadians once again, to roll up their sleeves and help out by book & keeping their appointments to help prevent shortages and Canadians rose to the call.
