The great Dutch painter, one of the most influential figures in Western art, is celebrated in this music video that runs Vincent's lyrics over a montage of mostly Van Gogh paintings, which is why I picked it instead of a video of McLean live. (Contd)

Update: you realise how rarely we discuss mental health in India when you see how frequently it comes up in other parts of the world. Last weekend I randomly watched Episode 3 (*ing Anne Hathaway) of Modern Love, an anthology TV series based on essays from New York Times (Contd)

...& the episode just happened to be about a woman struggling to sustain relationships & a career through her extreme mood shifts because she cannot bring herself to tell anyone that she has #bipolardisorder. Hathaway is lovely, & the story's simple, accessible language (Cont'd)

...helped me understand what I could not when a colleague tried to explain her Mum's condition to me yrs back. Modern Love is a mixed bag but this episode has really stayed with me.The show is on Amazon Prime. #LetsTalkMentalHealth #LetsTalkAboutDepression
