1] Life hasn't been easy for #Mwonzora & #Mudzuri on these streets for a while now.

They have absolutely lost control over the narrative

Majority of MDC supporters see their betrayal

Whenever they occasionally tweet something, they are met with negative responses & attacks

2] I've equally seen it on my TL, whenever i post something to do with the MDC-T Leadership.

Although i try to respond to every response, some tweets are riddled with so much anger I'm forced to ignore them.

Everything below the belt, i brush aside.

But here's a diagnosis...

3] Whereas some see plain intolerance in everything anti-Mwonzora for instance, there's more to it

Zimbabwe's political landscape is pregnant with some much anger & frustration

The problem is, these people end up expressing themselves in ways that attract your social sanctions

4] But make no mistakes, these people are not stupid

In development, we talk about "the weapons of the weak"

People always find unconventional ways of making their voices be heard

Sometimes the action is slow.
Sometimes it looks irrational.
Sometimes it looks anti-development.

5] Some time ago, in some traditional Zim community, some NGO came & build blair toilets thinking that use of the bush was a thing of the past

Locals thought "how can a daughter-in-law share a place of convenience with her father-in-law".

They turned the toilets into grainaries

6] In some community, government fenced animal populated areas so as to protect them.

Locals stole the wires and used it elsewhere.

They thought "we have historically co-existed with our wild with no fences"

In both instance, the weak found ways of reacting.
Slowly but surely

7] Back to politics...

Months ago, both Sen #Mwonzora & #Mudzuri were consistently booed at rallies

It looked like intolerance

At one point, #SenMudzuri exhibited stupid bravery by attending some State House function

Depending on where you stand, those people are vindicated

8] Reality is, there are some strong Chamisa supporters who feel incapacitated in these political developments

Infact, most voters have been relegated 2 the periphery

They aren't in decision making structures
They don't attend Congress

But they wish to have their voices heard

9] These people will employ the weapons of the weak

They will find ways of controlling the space they occupy

Slowly but surely, they will make their noise

But as you stand on high moral group & sanction their behavior, do not be oblivious to their motivation

10] Imagine how someone who voted by Chamisa being patronized by Mwonzora & Khupe at some press conference..

Imagine someone who voted for Chamisa & Hwende & Madam Khumalo in Gweru being told Dr Khupe is now your Pres, Mwonzora your SG & Komichi your Chair

How do they react?

11] The same way development always takes the top down approach, our politics is elitist

In the eyes of some, men & women wore colonial wigs & silenced their voices from 2018 polls

Some men & women sat in boardrooms, spoke in Latin & gave them Leaders they rejected

To what end?

12] But the challenge isn't only with Mwonzora & team

My brother Adv Chamisa might equally fall victim to the same

The weak might soon use their weapons against him

People will always find ways of communicating

The weak & powerless are easily the strong & poweful

enkosi!!
