1/ Founder Puzzles. Cover stories. Part III

We all know the drill by now. Short listed frame from the cover. Followed by the story behind the cover.

This one is obviously a beach. But that is not the story

2/ I have always been a sucker for beaches.

For the longest time I wanted to rent a beach villa for a month and write a book.

Wake up in the morning, grab a run, grab some breakfast and inspiration, sit down and write.

Repeat until book or rent is done.

3/ This was before I knew that most beaches on our side of the planet are warm, hot and humid.

Those on the other side are too cold for warm blooded desi wannabe authors..

Also sand isn't exactly great for laptops.

4/ But love is rarely sane. And I love beaches.

None of the books I have written were done by the sea side. They all came out of class notes prepared for my students.

Yet I dream of writing one by the sea.

5/ Don't make the mistake I made.

If you want to write a book, don't dream of the sea, like I did.

Go teach. Stay away from the beach.

Also use paper rather than electronics.

The best text books I read were written by teachers and professors. Remember class notes.

6/ The sea and the coast one uses to reflect, to think, to inspire, to find oneself

To shoot sunsets, sunrises and pebbles. To run.

Serenity, peace and colors. That is what beaches are good for.

And to leave footprints in the sand for generations to follow.

7/ Founder Puzzles. The stories behind the cover.
Part III. Beaches.
