.@GovSisolak says budget hole is down to $1.2 billion. Has released a preview of his proposals. Will thread my thoughts here.

$190 million from NSHE. $166 million from #nved, including gutting Read by 3 ($31 million) and $70 million from the new education funding plan.

That is an incredibly light touch to #nved given the circumstances. Losing Read by 3 would be a shame, especially since #nvleg has already eliminated the retention portion of the program.

$233 million from DHHS, including a 6% reduction in Medicaid reimbursement rates.

.@GovSisolak says his plan will balance the budget without raising taxes.
