Ella Brown runs a construction business with 7 apprentices. She is pleased about the new #JobTrainer package. “I think my reaction straight away, this morning was, oh, a bit of relief to have some support.” #abc730 #auspol

“I think the really big question mark hanging over today's announcement is just how effective this is going to be. I think it's very important & it's very necessary. But there's quite extraordinary things happening in the labour market at the moment.” Peter Hurley #abc730 #auspol

“What I think the government will do and what I think the government should do is, at a minimum, extend #JobKeeper for those sectors of the economy ... that are going to be subject to ongoing restrictions for some time.” Saul Eslake, economist. #abc730 #auspol
