Hashtags analyzed using Coefficient of Traffic Manipulation, tool developed by @DFRLab.
"pro-#Armenia tags displayed ebb & flow in mentions volume more characteristic of organic traffic, while pro-#Azerbaijan tags demonstrated sharp peaks — mostly consisting of retweets at 2pm"
Organic flow rate must be below 12 (like pro-#Armenia hashtags did), while #Ireli hashtags scored up to 60. Bunch of fake new registered users posted same anti-#Armenia messages thousands of times, faking effect of mass support to #Azerbaijan.
A retweets/like group was found related to #Azerbaijan General Union to Youth for Support (GUYS) organization, that recruits volunteer work online. Guy on screen is the founder.
Same manipulation committed multiple times in #Azerbaijan & #Armenia votes, border clashes, initiate pseudo public support in a nastiest miserable way.
Tons of them tweeted those hashtags in my page these days in every comment. Shall we fight this at all or just ignore or report?
