TL;DR: Tesla Japan getting ready for Q3 deliveries.
First, S/X/3 summary.
No X listed, only 2 new S & 2 CPO S. 3 Model 3 listed on 3rd party sites, but no taker.
Lots of posts on JPN Tesla forum on receiving VINs & paperwork. The few left-over from last yr are all getting one this Q & many who ordered in Q1. Even a couple who ordered one in July.
Many are already tired of being neglected. One forum poster reported that a Tesla rep told him they had a lot of cancellations (TBF, "a lot" is relative. Prob. not that many in reality).
Back-filling on order tracker has also picked up in the past month. Many are from Jan/Feb who wanted to ensure they got the subsidy. The subsidy is fund-limited, so safer to receive one early in FY, which starts in Apr.
Mix for the orders reported this yr is ~1/3 each of SR+/LR/P. For those reported last yr, ~41% P+, ~19% P-, 14% LR, 26% SR+.
JPN Tesla registrations will be reported on Thu next wk. I expect it to be very low, even single digit.
