Jai Shri Ram!
Raja Ram Chandra Ki Jai!

Jai Shri Ram!
- He bows on behalf of millions of Hindus who've cherished the dream of a Ram temple in Ayodhya for hundreds of years.
- Also, now there is no need to be apologetic about your Hindu identity.

- I was 10-11 when I visited Ayodhya; this was before Babri Masjid demolition.
- First thing that struck me was the presence of security forces and the frisking we'd to go through to even enter the premises.
- Next we came to the 'Janamsthan' (I think +

+ that is what it was called)
- It was was a deep pit in the ground with a Pujari inside.
- And my reaction was - 'This is where Shri Ram was born? Why is it kept in such a manner?'
- I had some stray idea about the Babri-Masjid dispute but the reality dawned on me when I +

+ reached Ayodhya.
- Because I was expecting a temple. And what I saw was completely different.
- As kids, we were taught Hanuman Chalisa from a very early age.
- My paternal side has a small temple dedicated to Shri Ram in my hometown which my father, before he joined the +

+ army, used to maintain, come rain, come shine.
- And this temple is situated in at a place which was then pretty inaccessible (top of a hill with access path through thick jungle/bush).
- He used to go twice a day, even before he was 10, to clean the temple, light the diya and+

+ do the pooja.
- Coming from a marginal background, he faced many a difficulties. But in all these, it was his faith in 'his' Shri Ram which gave him solace and strength.
- We inherited Prabhu Shri Ram from him.
- No major occasion is complete in our family w/o a visit to +

+ this temple.
- So, imagine my confusion when I saw Shri Ram in that pit in the open!
- I haven't visited Ayodhya since.
- I will do so when the temple is complete.
- Life will come full circle for me.
- And I'm lucky that I will get to see the temple in my lifetime
+

+
- And the best part, I'll take my children along.
- And they'll get to see the birthplace of Maryada Purshottam Prabhu Shri Ram in all its glory.

Beautiful words.

Today, he's kept the faith of so many Hindus like her.

The exile is over.
Prabhu Shri Ram has returned back home.
