Royal family which chose to stay in Pakistan post partition and whose rulers actively participated in Pakistani politics along side Bhutto. ⬆️This seems to have irked self-declared defenders of Rajput pride.
- And they're hiding behind the technicality of Amarkot (renamed now as Umerkot) being a Jagir and not a Princely State and hence, had no say in partition.
- What these geniuses will not tell you is that the +

Meta guy was giving a way out to @thewire_in by bringing in 'Wire might've been subjected to a hoax' angle rather than directly accusing them of forgery. Rather then take the lifeline, our commie journalist gang is doubling down on digging a deeper hole for themselves. By trying to brazen it out on a technology related issue on Twitter, Wire has exposed itself to Indian RW crowd - many of whom could wipe the floor with Wire's tech team with their pinky finger! Don't cry when you'll be shredded to pieces.

- BTW, when people crib about order qty for systems like LCH, please understand that production rate has to match the absorption rate with a Service.
- It takes time to create infra and more critically, trained manpower to operate & maintain a new system.
- Larger the existing+ + pool, easier and faster to absorb a new system.
- Take the case of artillery - it has a huge manpower and infra pool to quickly absorb new guns.
- Plus, new guns while being more modern, are not radically different from earlier guns.

- Here are some interesting points on the disengagement site discussed by @VishnuNDTV
- First, these Chinese posts are opposite PP15 in the side valley going north from Kugrang River.
- Its NOT in Gogra or Hot Springs region which have PP17A, PP17 and PP18
- Map in next tweet + - Overview of the Chang-Chenmo Sector.
- You can see PP15&16, Chinese claim line (red) and location of the Chinese site under discussion.
- The LAC here is not in dispute here and this is the first time Chinese have created claim extending across their 1959 claim line and LAC +

Future IT Hub?
- Given another episode of infra woes in Bangalore, questions are being asked, again, as to why no other city can emerge as the IT hub?
- Let me share with you a real world experience from my professional life, which I hope will answer this +
#bangalorerains + question to some extent.
- Many moons ago, I was consulting for a big developer, who for some reason had huge land bank in Mysore.
- A part of their leadership believed that given the proximity of Mysore to Bangalore, IT/ITES office demand will spill into Mysore as well.

@elmihiro @arzandc This is the ground reality, one can slice & dice it anyway one wants:
1. In the 90s and before 2014, the Chinese managed to claim & occupy 100s of sq.km of Indian territory with only a couple of Border Defense Regiments (BDR).
2. The Chinese literally fingered + @elmihiro @arzandc + India so much that the Indian Army started a process of bringing existing formations back to their original strength (diluted earlier as troops were moved into Kashmir for CI Ops) and adding new formations.
3. This happened in Eastern Ladakh, Himachal-Tibet border, and +

Honestly, haven't read a more pedestrian article on India's defense R&D. There is a lack of understanding about Indian defense set-up at a fundamental level amongst out IR community. One could write a small book pointing out the errors in this piece. Quite pathetic. Let me take one example from this - NAG ATGM.
- If the authors had done their research, they would not have lamented on its timeline.
- Why?
- Because if you compare the timeline for induction of other 3rd Generation, Fire & Forget ATGMs, NAG is more or less on time + Image

- This fauji langar gup peddler masquerading as a defense reporter has issue with the army calling its exercise in Ladakh as Blitzkrieg.
- Why? Because the Chinese might get spooked and get wrong ideas! 🤪
indianexpress.com/article/cities… Indian Army just scaled the highest peak on the entire Aksai Chin plateau. Which gives an unobstructed view for 100s of km, deep inside Chinese controlled Aksai Chin plateau. Just saying!

- In spite of how much I hate the casualness towards abortion reflected in this story, I think we've a bigger issue at hand, recourse to, and availability of abortion facility might be the only solution.

- Move towards creation of All India, All Class Infantry Regiments is a welcome development.
- While the Regiment system will remain, the composition of troops will be change to reflect all India character of the Army + Image

Pot calling the kettle black? No one has done more to complicate and directly undermine Indian security environment since 1947 than USA. And this lady is questioning India's reliability? Tell her not everyone can be poodle like UK or Pakistan.
- Pakistan is off the FATF list.
- US talks about working closely with Pakistan.
- Interview of NSA where he mentions we will not compromise on core national interests with respect to Pakistan.

#RussianUkrainianWar - Tank in modern warfare & Indian context.
- Pictures of destroyed Russian T-series tanks in Ukraine have raised questions about the viability of tanks in modern warfare. Again.
- And people are questioning their relevance in Indian context as well.
+ - 1st, I don't take the no about Russian tanks loses in Ukraine at face value.
- There is a 'famous' blog which has been documenting these loses, and to be honest, its far less than convincing.
- There is just too much western propaganda out there on the subject.

(A) Phalodi Air Force Base
- Someone time back my friend @orbatnoob_3 had highlighted how the IAF Base in Phalodi was nicely coming-up.
- In this thread 🧵, I'll show how this base fills a critical gap in IAF's infrastructure in Western Sector.
+ +
- As the map below shows, IAF's bases form a chain with each base separated by 130-150km.
- These are India's first line of air-defense against intruding Pakistan Air Force fighters, base for conducting strike inside Pakistan and to provide ground support in their sector.

I know 15 Light Combat Helicopters don't sound much but consider this - against a period when we'd about 25 Mi-24/35, today we have:
- Mi-35 (10-12)
- Apache (22)
- Rudra (~90 between IA+IAF)
Total: 120 with 15 LCH to join soon. ImageImageImageImage Consider this:
- Earlier, the 2 x Mi-24/35 squadrons of the IAF were married to a Strike Corps each.
- Now, each Pivot Corp has a Rudra gunship.
- As more LCH enter service, each Corps will have Rudra + LCH combination.
- That's 20+ attack helicopters where there were none. Image

[Chinese Army - PLA Ground Forces]
- News, information and analysis of the China's PLA Ground Forces. - When you study the Chinese Army you realize there is nothing earth shattering about it.
- The Chinese have focused on getting the basics right.
- Their first focus was on stabilizing production and adding relatively modern equipment compared to what they were operating earlier+

Chinese a/c production (source:@Chopsyturvey)
- A common strategy between PLAAF, PLA Army and PLAN was to initially focus on mastering production and building numbers.
- First, they got Su-27SK from Russia, which was named J-11.
- Soon, J-11B followed, where the Chinese added + + their own stuff, and removed dependence on the Russians.
- There are more J-11B/BS, than the original Russian imported Su-27SK/J-11.
- Today, J-11B form the largest component of PLAAF.

As Indians get a reality check about Kashmir on watching #KashmirFiles, there's one more reality check - How close we came to losing the valley. And how the security forces, especially the army, brought the situation under control through sheer guts & blood. Thread ⬇️ - Starting from 1989-90, the inflow of Pakistan backed terrorists in Kashmir reached unprecedented levels.
- Early 90s had 'liberated areas' in downtown Srinagar.
- Terrorists roamed in bands of 10s and 20s with a healthy mix of Afghans, and other nationalities.

This #HijabRow has finally got me to understand what's this faux secularism at its most fundamental level:
- It basically guaranteed same conditions as existing in Pakistan/Islamic State within India for those who supported but could not go to Pakistan. - 50% of outrage factory on Twitter is courtesy just genius journalists who absolutely lack in common sense, logic or reasoning.
- A private school can run its business as it wants. Is any Muslim student being forced to chant Hanuman Chalisa?

Didn't anyone tell her that you don't look at a Muslim practice from feminism lens? In India, that's reserved only for Hindu beliefs. Now, liberals, feminists, Muslims and permutation & combination of all three are after her. Check replies to her.
- There's only one reason this poor animal was publicly butchered.
- Its the same reason why Muslim terrorists and Indian left, liberal jamaat use the 'gau mutra' jibe.
- Hatred for Hindus.
