We don't want a place where Muslims feel safe and other people don't feel safe. We want a land where everyone feels safe. #Peace #Humanity

A moderator at a university of Egypt asked @alhabibali Al-Jifri.

Is the #love between a man and woman haram?

To which Habib replied: Love is wajib. Love is compulsory and the most primordial thing in a human. One who has no love is not #human.

To which the moderator interjected: here you’re talking about Love for God right?

Habib continued: No I meant love between a man and a woman.

Love is an inclination of the heart. And up until today #scholars are at wits’ end when it comes to truly expounding it for it has such deep realities.

The problem is when a man takes that love to be a means and outlet for his selfish desires towards her physical form inviting themselves to matters which are despicable to God. By doing so he cheapens the meaning of Love.

So I say to you ladies, if he starts saying he loves you and uses that as an excuse to make you an outlet for his lustful desires, let me tell you that he is a liar and is only using you. He does not love you, he is only infatuated with your outward form.

But when a man truly #loves a woman, he will change the way he looks at her. The way he chooses to look and treat her is of honour and deference out of the love that is placed in his #heart.
