A person who is visible on a television screen through technology such as a camera, is someone who is watched by millions all over the world. The [physical] blemishes and faults of such an individual would therefore be captured by the camera, however in order to conceal and hide these faults, they are supposedly removed by the makeup that is applied to the persons face, as well as the background lighting that seemingly makes the face radiant.

This is the resting places of the Prophet's daughters ﷺ in the Baqi graveyard. Sayyidah Ruqayyah, the beloved daughter of Rasulallah ﷺ passed away on the 17th Ramadan. رضى الله عنها

She became ill before the Battle of Badr so the Prophet ﷺ instructed her husband, Sayyiduna 'Uthman ibn 'Affan to stay at home and to look after after her. He gave up the greatest battle in history to look after his spouse - this was the level of his loyalty. They were described as the perfect couple and Rasūlallāh ﷺ once said,

What was Rasūlullāh ﷺ doing on this night? Do you know about his struggles, his tears, his concern, his care, his compassion on the night of the 17th Ramadan? It was on this night that the Beloved of Allah ﷺ stood in his tent in the area of Badr all night long weeping profusely and calling upon Allah with extreme humility and humbleness. Whilst all of his companions rested, he stood and cried in-front of His Lord asking Him for victory, openings, success, felicity, mercy, blessings,

It was at this time that #313 gazed upon an army of a thousand and their faith only increased. This is the greatest battle in history, the most epic and the most important. It was a day that the Truth became clear and falsehood was destroyed. The people of Mecca came with their horses, their camels, their food, their drink. They came with their arrogance and pride. They came with swords, they came with shields, they came with helmets and they came equipped.

“If Allah made it easy for you to get up and pray in the middle night for tahajjud, don’t look down on those who fell asleep and were unable to wake up.⁣

If Allah made it easy for you to fast, then don’t look at those who do not fast with a contemptuous look.⁣
If Allah made it easy for you by opening doors for you to strive in His Names, then don’t look at those who are not striving with a contemptuous look.⁣

I wanted something so badly. I kept praying for it, pouring my heart into begging God to give it to me. But every time I did, I would say to myself, "God probably wants to test me. He knows how much I want this, so He probably will give me the opposite of it just because I want it so badly."

And then one day I realized: God says, "I am as My servant thinks I am." Why would He give me what I want when all I'm thinking is about how much He wouldn't?

An Imām in Gaza who leads Tarāwīḥ prayers said,
"There's a person who always attends tarāwīḥ in the first row has Down Syndrome which is why his voice can be loud sometimes, and other times, he does rukūʿ and sujūd without the imām. Image And when I raise from rukūʿ and say *Sami'Allaahu liman Hamidah* (Allāh listens to whom praises Him), that person innocently cries out loud *Do you hear me Allāh?* and when we do sujūd, he innocently cries out loud *I love you Allāh!*
I cannot hide my tears after salah.

Do you know the story of the necklace of Sayyida Fāṭimah?

One day a poor old man came to Rasūlullāh ﷺ. He told him that he had emigrated and he was in need of food and clothes. However, Rasul Allāh ﷺ had nothing to give him so he sent him to the house of Sayyida Fāṭimah. She and her family had not eaten for 3 days, so she gave the old man a skin, she used as a quilt to cover her sons when they slept.

However, the old man complained and said that he could not settle his hunger eating an animal skin.

Don't compete with someone else's #Ramadan. Don't compare your circumstances to the biggest Shaykh and Wali in the world and feel bad. Many people are still working from home. Lots are looking after young children all day long. Some are serving the elderly and family members who are ill. Make a plan and timetable that is realistic, beneficial and works for you. This month has not come to stress you out and make you despair.

Our Grandshaykh said, “When does the power of our faith appear? When an unlovely thing happens to you, and you remain unchanged, firm in your faith, your Iman is real. If you can bear with those undesired things, the power of your faith will appear. Image Without trial, you cannot say that you have real power of faith (...) This is real power of faith, unchanging in the face of trials. This is the target. We must continue, until we are like Abraham (peace be upon him). • Seeking Knowledge

I counsel you to avidly seek beneficial knowledge through studying, reading, reviewing, and researching. Do not allow laziness or boredom to cause you to stop seeking knowledge, nor the fear that you will not act upon it, for that is foolishness. Image You must seek knowledge with a sound intention and scrutinise your lower self to ascertain whether it is sound. Do not you must be convinced by its claims until you examine it, test it, and force it to act upon what it has learned.

The recent reports alleging my political views were fabricated and erroneous. I do not engage in or endorse geopolitical strategies or treaties. My allegiance is and has always been with the oppressed peoples of Palestine, whether Muslim, Christian, or otherwise. Image Anyone who says differently is a liar; the Qur’an reminds us, “And the damnation of God is upon liars” (3:61). God is the judge and defender for the believer. I place my complete trust in Him alone.

This is an important juristic principle.
