Police chiefs adds:
• The Met will assist the Americans with Prince Andrew’s involvement in the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein - at any stage should they need it.
• Extremely likely that at some stage the Stephen Lawrence investigation will not be in an inactive phase.
The Police Commissioner tells @krishgm she was ‘horrified’ to discover that it is still the case that if you are a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic person working in the Met, you are twice as likely to find yourself in a misconduct process.
On stop and search, Cressida Dick says: 'Our black young men are hugely disproportionately stabbed and killed. Our black young men, sadly, are hugely tangled up in the criminal justice system and involved in carrying knives. So, we do stop and search in high violence areas.'
