TONIGHT at 7 on 4: Channel 4 News has learnt the Science Museum has signed a gagging clause, in its agreement with Shell International to sponsor its climate change exhibition, agreeing not to say anything that could damage the company’s reputation. We obtained sponsorship agreement which states S Museum & trustees agreed not to “make any statement or issue any publicity or otherwise be involved in any conduct or matter that may reasonably be foreseen as discrediting or damaging the goodwill or reputation of the Sponsor.”

NEW: The Department of Health has issued safety warnings, notices for disposal and distribution stoppages for more than 85 million masks and respirators, a Channel 4 News investigation has found. The masks and respirators, many of which had passed their use by dates, were stored at the government’s Pandemic Stockpile in Haydock, Warrington and have been distributed to hospitals, care homes and GP surgeries since March.

EXCLUSIVE: Channel 4 News has seen the inventory of the UK government pandemic PPE stockpile - and can reveal almost 80% of respirators were out of date when coronavirus hit.

Watch the full investigation at 7pm tonight, on Channel 4 News. In total, around 200 million pieces of kit had expired in the eight months beforehand.
