A new €5.5m #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme is being launched by Minister @Damien_English.

Administered by @Entirl, this will support retail businesses in enhancing their digital capacity, drive online sales and grow their customer base.

This forms part of the #JobsStimulus

The #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme is targeted at indigenous retailers with a pre-existing online presence.

This fund will accelerate their online offerings to respond to both domestic and international consumer demand.

Grants from the #COVID19 Online Retail Scheme range from €10k to €40k, covering up to 80% of project costs.

This can be used to fund fees for service providers, develop and implement a digital strategy, and enhance the retailer’s website. #JobsStimulus

Minister @Damien_English: "The Government has been listening to retailers across the country and it is clear that the #COVID19 pandemic has made it an urgent priority for businesses to grow their online offering – for many retailers, this has been a long-term goal."

Minister @Damien_English: "I know first-hand the difference grants such as these are making in hundreds of businesses throughout the country. Retailers are seizing the opportunity to significantly enhance their online shopfronts and complement their traditional presence."
