Jonathan Smith: The Postal Service has campaigns to threaten workers if they put the USPS in a bad light. They don't want pictures getting out of the delayed mail.

Jonathan Smith: I even rec'd a test from a district manager of NY that I was putting the USPS in a bad light. I asked if Louis DeJoy wasn't putting the USPS in a bad light, & I haven't heard back since.

Jonathan Smith: Do the elderly stop needing their medicine after Nov 3? Do soldiers overseas stop needing to hear from their families after Nov 3? Do people stop needing their stimulus checks or gov't checks after Nov 3?

Jonathan Smith: This is bigger than the election. This is the biggest land grab. The post offices were designed to be the epicenter of their communities.

Jonathan Smith: You would think instead of taking away services we'd be adding services like postal banking, fishing licenses, copying, etc. This is about big money, about greed.

Jonathan Smith: If the postal service is privatized, there won't be delivery to rural areas because it's not cost-effective. The USPS was not set up as a business. It's a service to the American people.

Rick: There'd been talk of putting post offices in Staples.
Jonathan Smith: Do you remember when there was a plan to put postal offices in Sears? Can you even find a Sears now? What kind of postal service would we have if that had happened?

Jonathan Smith: Once you lose the postal service, you don't get it back.

Jonathan Smith: If they get their hands on the postal service, instead of $0.55 to mail a letter it'll be at least $2.00. And then once they control the postal service, they'll start charging to send emails.

Jonathan Smith: The Board of Governors is a bipartisan party that voted to give money to the USPS to upgrade the fleet & equipment & to deal with the coronavirus. We need to get our Senators to pass that stimulus.

Jonathan Smith: Don't let anyone shut you up & quell your voice--you have a right to be heard & be heard at the ballot box. Vote, vote, vote.
@APWUnational #SaveThePostOffice

Jonathan Smith: The Postal Service will do anything but fail. Rain, sleet, snow...
Rick: ...or coronavirus.
