Inaugurated 4 new buildings of Central University, Chhattisgarh along with MoS for Education Shri @SanjayDhotreMP ji today.
During the meeting, I touched upon various development projects under progress at the University.
6 projects received funds of INR. 82.76 Cr via #HEFA, which include the construction of 2 Megawatt rooftop solar projects aiming to make the University self-sufficient in terms of its energy needs.
I also shared that @EduMinOfIndia has sanctioned economic assistance of INR. 60.6 Cr through #HEFA under its incentives for reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) along with infrastructure development.
I highlighted the University's student strength has increased by 2.5 times during the last 10 years post upgradation & applauded the University for carrying out all its responsibilities related to academics, administration,
finance, student assistance, counseling, etc. during #COVID19.
