These are one (if not all) of the reasons why you aren't seeing results with your skin care: #skinherball

Please RT for someone

Hi, I'm glad you are here. You might be wondering why your skincare isn't working, well I'm going to address some technical problems and I believe that we will get to see improvements on your skincare after this thread.

So let's get down to business:

1. One reason why your skincare might not be showing expected results is because DURATION OF USE DIFFERS, a lot of synthetic and organic ingredients take a while to work. That's the reality and sometimes you have to buy them up to 2 times before results begin to show.

Your skin also plays a role in the effectiveness of ingredients.

2. You might be using the wrong treatments and sometimes the right treatment but the wrong skin type.

Most Over the counter products indicates recommended skin types. So you should take note.

3. Using a product based on the recommendation of someone you know:

Like I said earlier, skin types are different and because it worked for someone doesn't mean it would work for you. Because it didn't work for you doesn't render that product or ingredient ineffective and

Useless. It's just unfortunate that accesses to dermatologist and estheticians are not readily available. Dermatologist offers a range of options for your specific skin type and for your specific skin condition. But nevertheless, we would stick to what's available and keep trying

4. Your skin might not actually be the problem. It could be your diet. A high intake of refined sugar will not give you a clear skin. You need to cut down on your sugar intake.
If you are suffering form acne, dairy products shouldn't be taken much.

Make regular visits to the hospital, talk to your doctor, they can help you make right nutrition choices. If you refuse, at least you should stop blaming products and brands that don't work for you because you might actually be the problem.

5. Having a skin routine will go a long way in helping you achieve great skin.

See a comprehensive routine you can choose from according to your skin types..

If you are applying products to your face, let each sit on your face for a minute

Before layering another one. this will help each ingredients sink well into your pores.

Except that your serums should be applied on damp face.... The results are miraculous.

6. Frequency of use could also be a problem.

Sometimes, relax and watch what happens next.

Don't overload your face with different Ingredients because you want the dark spots, or pimples out before tomorrow morning. You would be damaging your skin barrier.

Don't abuse products. Your face mask should be applied at most, twice a week.

If you are exfoliating with scrubs, three times a week, and sometimes just reduce the frequency, use healing ointments like CeraVe healing ointment. It will help your skin barrier heal.

And finally, stop expecting overnight results. You are guilty on this one. Two weeks is too short, even a month. Overnight results could be temporary. But when you use products patiently with consistency, your breakouts would be rare and you will enjoy your skin.

In skincare, there is supposed to be a balance. Don't forget that you get back what you give your skin. So give it good care. I wish you well. I admonish you to stick to these tips because they will help you a great deal.

Please help me share by retweeting. Bless you
